The program is a 1 year master’s degree program. There are 3 semesters, each following a 14 week course schedule. The courses are in an executive format, requiring attendance at 3 on site class sessions for each course, as well as weekly online meetings and weekly online assignments for each course.

The 1 year MS Degree in Next Generation Disruptive Technologies with a concentration in Blockchain Technologies is a full-time master’s degree program. Students will take 4 courses a semester, with each course requiring at least 10-15 hours of study a week.

Yes, Harrisburg University is a laptop environment. Each student must provide his or her own laptop to fully participate in the academic program.

2 Year Master’s Program: $28,800

There are individual payment plans and an employer deferred payment plan available through Harrisburg University. Individual payment plans are not available for international students.

Refund Policy for Traditional Semester Terms: A student who withdraws from the University prior to the end of the third week of the semester may be due a credit for the unearned portion of the tuition charge.

The rate of refund for withdrawal from the University is based on total charges and is as follows:

  • Prior to the first day of a semester 100%
  • During the first week 75%
  • During the second week 50%
  • During the third week 25%
  • After the third week 0%

Tuition Refund Policy: Tuition for the semester is considered fully-earned at the end of the third week of classes. For refund purposes, the semester begins on the first day of class for that semester, regardless of the student’s first class day of attendance during week one. The period of time used to calculate the tuition refund is the first day of class of the semester to the University’s determination date of official or unofficial withdrawal.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Graduate programs are not eligible for financial aid. However, Graduate students can apply for a Graduate PLUS Loan and pursue alternative loan options.

You will earn your master’s degree from Harrisburg University of Science & Technology upon successful completion of the program.

You will need to attend classes on site 3 times a semester. You will attend an orientation and attend 9 class sessions at the site in Philadelphia, for a total of 10 on site visits throughout the 1 year program.

Students in the MS Degree in Next Generation Disruptive Technologies do not have to have programming experience prior to being accepted into the program. Some elective course do require programming knowledge, but students can choose whether to take those courses based on their experience and comfort with computer programming.
