The 18 semester hour Graduate Certificate in Project Management is designed for students with a desire to understand both traditional and agile principles and practices of project management.

Students who complete the certificate courses obtain an academic Certificate in Project Management from Harrisburg University and an industry certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), either the Project Management Professional – PMP, or Certified Associate Project Manager – CAPM. The Certificate in Project Management requires all the core Graduate Level Project Management courses (six 3 credit hour courses – non-capstone) required to obtain a Master of Science in Project Management. These core courses when completed successfully apply directly towards a Master of Science in Project Management if at some point the student decides to seek a full Master of Science graduate degree.

In order to complete the Certificate in Project Management at Harrisburg University, a graduate must also complete the necessary requirements for the PMP or CAPM including passing the relevant exam from PMI.
